What should I bring for the 5-day jungle trekking tour?
We recommend bringing comfortable trekking shoes, light and breathable clothing, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, a small backpack, a flashlight, personal toiletries, and any necessary medications.
Is the 5-day jungle trekking suitable for children?
Yes, the trek is suitable for children, but they must be accompanied by an adult. The trek involves moderate physical activity, so it is important that children are able to walk for extended periods in a jungle environment.
What wildlife can we expect to see during the trek?
During the trek, you may encounter Sumatran orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and a variety of bird species. While wildlife sightings are common, they cannot be guaranteed as the animals are in their natural habitat.
What if it rains during the trek?
Trekking can still proceed in light rain. We recommend bringing a waterproof jacket. In case of severe weather, the guide may decide to reschedule or modify the trek for safety reasons.
What is the cancellation policy for the tour?
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the tour will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full amount.
Are there restroom facilities during the trek?
There are no restroom facilities along the trekking route. We recommend using the restroom before the trek begins. During the trek, you will need to follow Leave No Trace principles for any restroom needs.
Is traditional tube rafting safe?
Yes, traditional tube rafting is generally safe and adds a fun element to the tour. Our guides will ensure safety protocols are followed, but please let us know if you have any concerns or if there are non-swimmers in the group.
What kind of food will be provided during the trek?
We provide a variety of local dishes, fresh fruits, and hot beverages (coffee or tea). Meals are prepared with consideration for dietary restrictions, so please inform us in advance if you have any specific dietary needs.
